Vines

The area and the vineyards

Today, the hills of the Altomonte that were once crossed by King Alaric and his troops are covered in vineyards perennially kissed by the sun. In the centre of Calabria – a beautiful region surrounded by two seas – and at an altitude of between 400 and 500 metres above sea level, this is a geographically perfect location for our approximately 100 hectares of autochthonous vineyards – mainly of the Magliocco, Monotonico nero, Greco bianco and Malvasia bianca varieties. This area emanates intense and inebriating perfumes. In some of its parts, careful agricultural interventions on the natural landscape make the region even more artistic.
